Radio broadcast of nearly 2 hours introducing project and musicians of Lieder von Liebe und Tod with their previous projects.


10-Oct-2001 hr2: Bombsong untitled
Radio broadcast of the 90 minute live performance of Dorn/Haage's Bombsong untitled on the >hr2 station. Bobo contributed vocals to this work.


28-Sep-2001 Bayern2: "Last Words" radio play
Bobo recorded 5 songs with composer and pianist >Ulrike Haage (Rainbirds) and guitarist Alex Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten). Voice by the actor Gottfried John.

Those songs have been composed by Ulrike; words originated from the book Last Words: The Final Journals of William S. Burroughs. This is part of the radio play Last Words for the german radio station >Bayern 2.

A CD has been released on >Sans Soleil at the end of 2001.

The premiere broadcast was on 28-Sep-2001 on Bayern 2 and was also streamed on the internet. The 67 minute play contained about 10 minutes of music with Bobo singing in english.


29-Mar-2000 >Radio EINS
Music and an interview from a performance from the Soda-Salon at the >Kulturbrauerei, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. Acts were >DJ Grammophon and Bobo. Bobo was performing some classic swing songs, accompanied by Stephan Kling on piano.

The radio transmission included the song Willow weep for me (comp. Ann Ronell, 1932) and an interview with Bobo by Frank Meyer, covering her past, present and future. The main news were:

  • Bobo in White Wooden Houses no longer exists.
  • Bobo occasionally does this swing project in Berlin clubs.
  • She explains her collaboration with Saal Drei.
  • At the big New Year's Eve party (1999/2000) Bobo performed three songs from Glow with the State Orchestra St. Petersburg.
  • For two years now, Bobo has been singing in a band named Alaska. Many songs have been written and should be released "soon".
